Another sim has come and gone, sports fans! And no resolution is in sight in either league. With more than a month now behind us (one sixth of the season) we seen nothing but parity across both leagues.
In the Platonic League Seattle maintains its lead but is followed by both Pittsburgh and Stockholm one game back. Further, one game earlier Pittsburgh had tied it up before slipping in the last game of the sim.
In the Socratic League things are insanely tight with Hall9000's Winnipeg tied with Brooklyn and Helena for the lead and Marietta one-half game back. Behind the Ohio River heroes is Jersey City one game off the leaders and New York in the cellar only two games back at 13-14.
That's right, by the way, all the teams in the Socratic League are above .500 except the last place team which is only one game under. Guess who's beating whom in interleague play so far this year? Hint: it ain't the Hegelians...
In awards this sim Seattle's George Pullum won the Batter of the month for the Platonic League. In he Socratic League the award went to Brooklyn's Miyatarou Takenao. Pitcher of the Month winners were Maryland's McGurk and Brooklyn's Tyler Conn. Well done, gentlemen!
The next sim is Monday by Mack! Don't miss it!
