Sorry for the delay, gentlemen. Got my new laptop today and I got distracted. Forgive me.
Sadly, in this sim we begin to see some seperation in the Socratic League and that's me doing the sucking. I should be happy I stole that first trophy, I suspect.
Anyway...
After this sim we see the Platonic League seperating into two distinct groupings. Seattle, Pittsburgh, and Stockholm up top (Seattle in the lead) and the others chasing behind. In the Socratic League such is happening as well with Brooklyn, Winnipeg, and Helena all withing 1.5 games of each other and the lead with the others strung out behind.
Oddly enough, last year's champs, Maryland, is the only team with a real bad start at 11-23. Strange for a trophy holder.
On the injury front there was one major injury this sim. Maryland Starter Wayne Dick was hit by a come-backer and broke his hand. He's out for at least six full weeks. Ouch!
We have one outstanding pitching performance and one outstanding hitting performance this sim. On the pitching side Stockholm's Chad Gomez threw 8 innings of 3 hit ball for the ninth best performance of the year. Pittsburgh's Perry Hodgin brought his A game to the plate in a five for five, two home run, five run game against Helena for the best to-date hitting game of the year!
Keep playing those games, guys. The next sim in Friday, by me! Be there!

Hmmm... my roster upload doesn't seem to be in effect with this sim. Guys I demoted or placed on the DL appeared in games, and there were a lot of other things odd with my roster.
Has anyone else noticed that their roster moves weren't applied to this sim?
I didn't upload any roster changes, so I can't answer that.
Nice to see "The Tool" getting off to a huge start. Can't argue with an OPS of 2.592.
Small sample sizes are totally sustainable, right?
Michael mentioned this to me last night. The system SEEMED to work normally. Six of the teams had exports, about an average number for this point in the season.
Anyone else? If, for some reason, it didn't go through Mack and I will discuss redoing this sim.
Anyone else? Bueller?
Nate: Is it possible that you processed my trade with Matt before importing the teams? That will invalidate my import if done out of order.
I'm making a stink about this because I made a lot of roster moves this sim, and none of them was applied in the game.
The fact I finished 2-3 in this sim doesn't help my frustration.
I am not one to take a 4-1 sim off the books, but my changes did not go through either. I has some promo days that did not take and some minor lineup changes that also did not take place. So there is one more Michael.
Thanks, Jeremy.
Mack/Nate?
Let me kick it around with Mack, as I said, and get back to you.
Whatever you decide, I hope you postpone the sim Friday night. If you decide not to redo Wednesday's sim, I know I haven't touched the league file because I'm waiting to re-upload my last team changes in the hopes of a re-played sim.
What, and wipe out The Tool's historic start? Say it isn't so!
