Sim #12 Completed

The calendar has turned to June. Abbreviated report tonight though (sorry, other time pressures).

Seattle remains in first in the Platonic but Pittsburgh continues to stay close, just one half game back. Stockholm has dropped four games back, but remains in third. Sylva stayed on the fringe, seven games back.

In the Socratic League, New York has taken its turn as the hottest team in baseball. Last year's worst record has reeled off nine straight victories and is in third, just one game out of first place. Winnipeg is still in first, one-half game ahead of Brooklyn. Helena is hanging in, 3.5 games back while Jersey City sits five back. Marietta is last, 7.5 games back, and is the only Socratic team below .500.

Seattle's Carlos Araoz and New York's Salomon Tavarez won Player of the Month Honors. Sylva's Frank Sherrick and Winnipeg's Hernando Desalvo were Pitchers of the Month.

No major injuries.

Next sim is Friday, by Nate. League file is posted. Web pages en route.
