In a continuing effort to rescue his franchise from financial ruin caused by his own poor decisions, Seattle GM Matt Macario announced a trade with Jersey City today. Seattle sends minor league starter John Toy and MR Bruce Westlund to Jersey City, in exchange for minor league reliever William Salter and a much needed $3.5 million in cash.
In other news, Macario is soliciting suggestions for a new team name. After four consecutive exits from the playoffs, the "Chokers" is the current frontrunner, but all suggestions will be considered.
