Seattle continues to pull away in the Kant division, opening a 4.5 game lead. Their wins included a 12-inning shutout of Stockholm on May 17. Pittsburgh holds on to second place with a paltry 19-18 record, as only two Kant squads are posting records above .500.
Helena maintained its two-game cushion over Jersey City in the Hegel division, despite actually losing a couple of games to Seattle in a match-up of division leaders. New York pulled into a tie for third place with Marietta seven games back.
A number of pitchers suffered minor injuries, including New York ace Charlie Hults.
