BROOKLYN - In another move to help the playoff push for the Brooklyn Bombers, General Manager Jeremy Goldman announced today a deal with one of the teams that they are chasing in the Socatic League, Jersey City. Today the Bombers picked up MR Ramon Medina for reserve CF Orval "Redenbacher" Amos.
Medina was really excited for the move, "I am so happy not to be pitching in Jersey anymore, the smell was really effecting my performance."
This move solidifies the middle part of the Bombers pitching staff with the addition of Medina, and last week's acquisition of Lymon "Sprite" Grimm from New York, giving them perfect lead ins to their closer James Coddington.
"This team could bring Brooklyn their first title since 1955, and we are not going to stop until we reach that goal," mentioned GM Goldman.
Jersey City GM Paul Michael was extremely excited about the acquisition of Orval mentioning, " I love his popcorn and now I hope his play in CF will be as good as his artificial butter flavoring."
Both teams are claiming to get the better end of this deal, this writer says, whatever team ends up on top of the division will be the team that gets the last laugh.
Is the end of the dealing as we approach the trade deadline??????
