Sim #10 Complete! Both races tight!

In another compelling sim the drama only heightens. The lead in both leagues is only one-half game and nobody can afford to coast!

In the Platonic League Seattle remains in first but Maryland is as close as it gets. Furthermore, with Sylva only two games off the pace neither of the frontrunners can be at all secure! Meanwhile, in the Socratic League Brooklyn is again in first but now Winnipeg is one-half game out and the space between first and fifth is only 2.5 games. Only New York is showing some separation having fallen 6.5 games off the leader.

Of course, let's never forget that first place in the Socratic League would be fourth place in the Platonic circuit. It's a funny race, that's for sure!

In games of note Winnipeg beat Seattle on May 22nd in a tie game by putting up five runs in the top of inning twelve. On May 19 Seattle put up seventeen runs against Brooklyn in a battle of the leaders that went decidedly one-sided.

Brooklyn's Trevor Canela put up the fifth best pitching performance of the season so far with his 3 hit shut out of Cairo. Well done, Trevor! Seattle's Ronald Veit also stood out on May 19 by going three for five with two home runs and seven RBI! Ronald's performance was good enough for the second best hitting exhibition of the year!

The only major injury of the sim occured to Jersey City's Aloisio Morales. He's out two weeks with a tender shoulder but the problem isn't expected to be long term in nature!

The next sim is on Friday by Mack! Be there!
