Sim #4: Complete. Marietta Takes First

In something not seen since our inaugural season Marietta is in first place in the Socratic League. Let us all celebrate! Otherwise things in the league are beginning to stretch out with no two teams sharing the same record for the first time this season. However, there's still only 3.5 games separating first and last so anything can happen.

Sim #4 showed Maryland giving up its dominant lead and being tied by the surging Seattle squad at 11-6. Pittsburgh, sadly, continues to bring up the rear with a .313 winning percentage. It's too early to tell if a record can be set but I'm sure the Steeltown Strivers will do their best!

In notable happenings Seattle's Thomas Holte threw a three-hitter against Stockholm on April 21st and Helena put up eight runs in the 4th inning against Marietta on April 19th.

Game of the sim goes to the Seattle-Sylva matchup on April 15th. Tied at one-all in the bottom of the 13th Seattle pushed one across with three singles to win it!

Next sim in Friday by Mack! Be there!

Oof, two starters with ERAs over 10. And, I'm running with a four-man rotation for the first month, too.

Ick.

Anyone want a top-flight OF prospect? I have like 4 of them. E-mail me and we'll talk. I need a starter, obviously.
