Sim #20 - All Star Game! Socratic League win a tight one!

The sim is over and with it the first ever official OEL Allstar Game!

The Socratic League won the popular event 6-5 on the back of home runs by Marietta's Abalo, Helena's Chavez, and and Jersey City's Basil Gomez! After lighting up Platonic League starter Billy Lowry (Seattle) for four runs in the first two innings the SL looked to cruise after start Mark Fossum (Brooklyn) struck out four in three perfect innings. However, Samuel Mazza (Winnipeg) came if for the fourth and was quickly touched up for five runs while only getting one batter out!

Those were the only runs the PL would score that night as the SL put up two more runs later in the game to bring the victory home! Better luck next year, Platonic!

In the regular season Marietta remains up by five games over Winnipeg but Jersey City is only one-half game off the wildcard pace. One the other side Seattle continues to be up, now by six over Maryland who is one game ahead of Sylva!
