OEL Series Game Five: A Pitcher's Duel Leaves Brooklyn Alive!

Another great game in the books for the 2003 OEL series, sports fans! Brooklyn defeated Maryland in game five 3-0 in a game in which Brooklyn only had five hits and Maryland only four! A tight, old fashioned pitcher's duel for a change!

Brooklyn starter Tyler Conn went the full nine innings on the shutout running up a game score of 83 by allowing only four hits and one walk on the game. Maryland's Punal, starting for the southerners, allowed only four hits and NO walks while striking out nine. Sadly, Brooklyn bunched them up and scored three runs, two in the second and one in the third to bring the series back to Brooklyn with Maryland leading 3 games to 2!

It's still anybodies series! Who will win and who will lose? Only fate knows, and she ain't talking!

I have simmed the off day following game five so tomorrow's sim by Mack is only the game.

Files and site are on the way up! Don't miss the exciting conclusion!
